Diabetes can cause both circulatory changes and loss of sensation in the diabetic foot and these complications can potentially cause further problems. I will carry out a neurovascular assessment to assess the condition of your feet when I first treat you, and we can review the situation regularly. If changes occur, I will discuss this with you which might prompt a referral to your GP or diabetic team.
My goal is to keep you mobile, avoid complications and keep your feet pain free.
